SHARON, Pa. – A 31-year-old Sharon man wanted by police in connection to a shooting death here on Saturday was arrested Monday night in Pittsburgh, by the U.S. Marshals Taskforce.

Michael Bagnall is being held in the Mercer County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond on a charge of homicide. He is due to return to Sharon District Court on March 13.

According to police, Bagnall was wanted in connection to the death of Jaylen “Bubby” West, whose body was found in the 300 block of Quinby Street early Saturday morning.

It’s believed the two were arguing at a birthday party before the shooting.

Investigators initially believed that Bagnall could have left the state, so they requested assistance from federal law enforcement officials and from police departments and the public in Ohio. Bagnall has a criminal record outside of Pennsylvania, including in Warren, where he is wanted on a misdemeanor drug offense.
