12:30 p.m. – Richard Harker, 120 Ninth St., Niles, was arrested on multiple warrants, one from Howland on charges of theft and three from Boardman on charges of theft. He was also cited with shoplifting from Kohl’s Department Store on Niles Cortland Road.

March 14, 5:20 p.m. – A parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle at 210 Howland Wilson Road.

12:01 a.m. – Wallet and cell phone were stolen while the owner was at Leon’s Bar on Niles Cortland Road.

12:40 p.m. – Stheia Wright, 2234 Northwest Blvd., Warren, was arrested on two active warrants through Warren Police Department on charges of driving under suspension and falsification. She was also cited for driving under suspension and failure to allow a clear distance ahead on Elm Road.

Girard police activity reported for March 15-19:

March 19, 10:16 p.m. – Police responded to a felonious assault claim at Northside Medical Center. The victim claims he was attacked with a knife by two youths.

March 18, 10:21 p.m. – Police responded to a petty theft claim at 703 Trumbull Ave., Lot 125. Victim claims $2,000 of DVDs were stolen from property.

March 17, 10:44 p.m. – A citizen was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol / drugs at 852 N. Highland Ave. The driver failed a field sobriety test and blew a 0.192 blood-alcohol content, more than the legal limit of 0.08, when tested.

10:41 p.m. – Police responded to assault / criminal trespassing claim at 852 N. Highland Ave.

6:22 p.m. – Police responded to assault claim at 350 E. Wilson Ave.

March 13, 7:21 p.m. – Advance Auto reported employee theft. Charles Niccum, 17609 Redwood Ave., Lake Milton, was charged with theft.

March 12, 4:48 p.m. – A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported in front of Falls Convenient.

3:58 p.m. – A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported at Main and First streets.

2:20 p.m. – Resident on Oak Knoll reported having problems with a FedEx delivery.

March 11, 10:33 p.m. – A resident at 77 Bridge reported someone damaged her bird feeder.

10:33 a.m. – Police received a tip of a possible meth lab at 314 Ophelia St. HazMat, the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office, Newton Falls police and fire departments, and the Warren Police Department’s K-9 unit were called just after 3 p.m. to the location. HazMat workers could be seen from the street collecting materials from a detached garage behind the house. An investigation is ongoing.

March 9, 8:53 p.m. – Landlord / tenant dispute was reported at 68 East Jay St.

March 8, 8:24 p.m. – Resident of Warren was reported being bitten by a dog at 74B Trumbull Court.

6:51 p.m. – Richard Warren, 9058 Center St., Windham, was arrested on a warrant out of Niles.

4:49 p.m. – Resident reported receiving numerous phone calls and text messages from an ex-boyfriend. Charges are pending against the former boyfriend.

March 7, 4:10 p.m. – A resident reported that while she was walking her dog, it was attacked by another dog, and a piece of her dog’s ear was bitten off.

1:33 p.m. – Someone reported a disturbance at 1203 Warren Road.

7:25 a.m. – Someone reported a domestic situation at 925 Water St.

Cortland City Police activity reported March 14-20:

March 20, 10:16 a.m. – Officers assisted the Cortland Fire Department with a structure fire in the 100 block of Amy Place.

10:05 a.m. – Officers assisted Lakeview School District in identifying a vehicle that ran a school bus off the road.

6:51 a.m. – Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Main Street in reference to an unruly juvenile.

March 19, 1:38 p.m. – Disorderly conduct was reported at Cortland Banks.

March 18, 8:53 p.m. – An altercation occurred on the 500 block of South Mecca Street during a custody exchange.

3:18 p.m. – A domestic disturbance was reported on the 200 block of East Main Street.

March 17, 7:48 p.m. – Alysia E. Chapin, 35, of Warren, was charged with driving in violation of license restrictions and failing to yield when making a left turn. Chapin received a citation and was issued a court date.

7 p.m. – Nancy A. Fike, 39, of Cortland, was charged with driving under suspension, failure to display a front license plate, and failure to wear a seat belt. Fike receive a citation and was issued a court date.

6:59 p.m. – A delinquent juvenile was reported on the 400 block of East Main Street.

11:00 a.m. – Officers spoke with a North High Street resident regarding a junk vehicle complaint.

March 16, 7:58 p.m. – Daniel P. Parkhurst, 41, of Warren, was charged with failure to stop after an accident and failure to maintain reasonable control. Parkhurst was issued a citation and a court date.

2:40 p.m. – Michael T. Kline Jr., 35, of Warren, was charged with failure to reinstate his license. Kline was released with a citation and received a court date.

March 15, 12:52 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Colonial for two juveniles shooting squirrels.

12:09 p.m. – Two white male juveniles were reported walking the street carrying guns in the 300 block of South Colonial.

March 14, 12:11 p.m. – A loose dog was reported on the 300 block of Sawmill Drive.

9:20 a.m. – Officers were advised by Trumbull County 911 of an elderly male driving an ATV.

March 11, 8:18 p.m. – Male reported to have shot himself at 2255 Lyntz Road. Police assisted in stopping bleeding. Man was transported to hospital.

5:45 p.m. – Possible breaking and entering and burglary reported at 3245 Tod Ave.

March 9, 7:38 p.m. Female reported receiving a harassing text message from a man she knows at 5253 Palmyra Road.

March 8, 8:41 p.m. – Dog set off alarm inside house at 6696 Brookhollow Drive.

12:37 a.m. – Domestic dispute reported at 1510 Tait Road after female reported being pushed by male.

March 4, 7:16 p.m. – Resident at 6050 Highland Ave. reported telemarketer made threat on the telephone.

March 3, 4:35 p.m. – Burglary reported at 408 Brunstetter Road after someone entered home through a rear door and took PlayStation game. Dresser drawers were also found open. A neighbor reported seeing a white car in driveway.

1:31 p.m. – Threats were reported at 2260 Industrial Trace after female was threatened on Facebook.

7:37 a.m. – Heated confrontation reported between two people at 2960 Industrial Trace.

7:07 a.m. – Threats reported at 332 Ellsworth Bailey Road after resident concerned for the safety of a grandchildren.

March 2, 4:26 p.m. – Small dog believed to have set off alarm at house at 2978 Pond Lane.

March 1, 10:44 a.m. – Theft of $783 from a debit card reported at 2760 Virginia Drive.

9:36 a.m. – Resident of 1075 Tait Road reported someone threw a pile of trash on his property.

Feb. 28, 8:48 p.m. – Child custody dispute reported at 4251 Palmyra Road.

5:37 p.m. – Female at 3242 Dove Drive reported at receiving threatening texts from unknown person.

11:12 a.m. – Harassment was reported at 2300 Hallock Young Road after someone damaged a vehicle in a parking lot at General Motors. Someone had scraped and smeared yellow paint on vehicle.

1:47 a.m. – A woman reported being assaulted by a male at 2666 Elizabeth Drive.

Feb. 26, 2 p.m. – A volunteer at the Animal Welfare League reported being bitten by a dog at 545 Brunstetter Road.

Feb. 24, 4:33 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle was reported outside of 894 Brunstetter Road. Resident expressed concern because of a series of break-ins in the area.

Feb. 21, 9:17 p.m. – An Ohio Edison employee reported that someone attempted to break in the microwave building, 5575 Highland Ave., damaging its door. A lock to the fence leading to the rear of the building was cut. Copper wire was stolen.

3:35 p.m. – A General Motors employee reported his 2014 Chevy Cruze was keyed by unknown person while it was parked in the plant’s parking lot.

11:09 a.m. – A Robinwood Drive resident reported that someone from The Bronx, N.Y., gained access to her Associated School Employees Credit Union account, purchasing a total of $239.79 worth of clothing.

10:41 a.m. – A Hallock Young Road resident reported that an unknown person or persons completed his federal income taxes. Credit card accounts for Sears, Home Depot, Home Shoppers Network, and Bill Me Later were illegally opened.

Feb. 18, 6:20 p.m. – Tarin Lawrence, 1583 Carson Salt Springs Road, reported being pushed against a door by a member of GM security personnel, after being pulled from his work space and told plant officials were investigating whether he had a weapon in his vehicle. Lawrence said he wanted to find his union representative. He then left the property.

5:21 p.m. – A resident at 1271 Tait Road reported $30 being stolen from her purse on Feb. 13 by workers from a plumbing company. The resident said she had $50 in her purse while workers were in the house. She later found that $30 was missing.

Feb. 16, 12:36 p.m. – An alarm went off at 2121 Carson-Salt Springs Road. A member of the UAW Local 1714 re-entered the union hall there after the alarm was set.

Feb. 15, 11:25 p.m. – Two people were reported being in a car in the parking lot of CSX/IBBI. The vehicle drove off when officers arrived. When the vehicle was later stopped, the woman, who was driving was found not to have a driver’s licenses. She was cited. The male was intoxicated. They were given a warning not to return or they would be arrested for trespassing. A taxi was called to pick them up.

4 p.m. – A resident reported that ice fell on his vehicle from a hose at the Lordstown Village Car Wash, 6830 Tod Ave.

Feb. 12, 11:15 p.m. – A GM employee reported that her ex-boyfriend had a gun in his vehicle. She was escorted to her vehicle.

7:23 a.m. – A GM employee reported that several windows of his vehicle were keyed while it was parked in the the plant’s parking lot.

Feb. 11, 6:14 p.m. – Officers went to Beaver Creek in Weathersfield to assist in breaking up a domestic.

4:06 p.m. – A resident at Highland Ave. reported that three former friends have been placing disparaging remarks about her on Facebook and Twitter. She is seeking a restraining order to stop their actions.

Feb. 10, 1:52 p.m. – An ATM at 2255 Carson-Salt Springs Road is reported to have been struck by a vehicle.

Feb. 7, 4:41 a.m. – A resident at 2900 Woodview Drive reported that someone attempted to steal his smoker trailer. Damaged his lock.

March 13, 6:39 p.m. – James Depizzo, 44, of Girard arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on Fifth Avenue in Youngstown.

March 9, 9:24 p.m. – Juliam Mission, 22, of 1334 Virginia Trail in Youngstown was arrested on a charge of possession of drugs, driving under suspension, no operating license and expired plates at the corner of Colonial and Hadley in Youngstown.

8:03 a.m. – Charles Rivers, 40, of 1308 Charlotte Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of petty theft and an outstanding warrant arrest at the Walmart on 200 Goldie Road, Youngstown. Rivers was spotted attempting to steal roughly $90 in energy drinks.

March 8, 9:30 p.m. – Police respond to felonious assault claim at 2459 Fifth Ave. in Youngstown.

1:06 p.m. – Lucas Cummings, 33, of 623 Beverly Hills Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of petty theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at the same address.

March 7, 8:29 p.m. – Matthew Brayon, 19, of 605 Trumbull Ave., Apt. 31, in Girard, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon at 2983 1/2 Northview Road in Youngstown.

March 12, 11:30 p.m. – Aggravated burglary was reported at 176 Shady Lane Circle. Chad Summers was charged with abduction and aggravated burglary for holding a woman her daughter at knifepoint in their mobile home. He was arrested without incident.

March 11, 6:41 a.m. – Vehicle struck a deer that jumped in front of them on state Route 82.

March 10, 3 p.m. – Criminal damaging at 1775 Brittany Oaks Trail. The residence’s mailbox was damaged.

1:30 p.m. – Someone reported that a known person stole tools, clothing and personal papers from 3570 Hightree Ave.
