Michael Loychik won a commanding victory for the Republican nomination for the Trumbull County auditor seat over incumbent Auditor Martha Yoder and Bazetta Fiscal Officer Stacy Marling. Liberty easily passes police levy

LIBERTY — Law enforcement in the township will be able to continue maintaining its strong presence in the community, thanks to residents. The measure passed by a margin of 66% to 34%, according to complete and unofficial results from the Trumbull County Board of Elections. The levy would collect an estimated $823,492 per year, according to numbers from Trumbull County Auditor Martha Yoder. Newton Falls Law Director Jeff Limbian filed as an independent for a Mahoning County Common Pleas Court judicial seat while Michael Philip Walton submitted petitions as an independent for the 64th Ohio House District post.
