County to review budget through year’s end

WARREN — Trumbull County Commissioners are expected to review the general fund budgets of all the county departments next week to determine what will be needed for the departments to complete the year based on 2026 budgets assigned to them at the end of 2025. The commissioners at their weekly workshop Tuesday received an overview of 2026 budget requests from 30 county departments that added up to $82,084,057.38. WARREN — Trumbull County has earned nearly $750,000 more in interest so far this year than during the same period in 2025, Treasurer Agostino Ragozzino told the Trumbull County Commissioners during their quarterly investment advisory committee meeting Tuesday. Staff report WARREN — A Trumbull County man, who has been arrested 69 times and imprisoned four times, is headed back to prison for another stretch behind bars for only two years following his July 14 sentencing.
