WARREN -- Trumbull Regional Medical Center remains open and continues to accept hospital admissions, a spokeswoman for the facility said today.
The emergency department, too, is open and "will continue to provide the highest quality of care to our patients," the spokeswoman said.
Trumbull Regional is a Steward Health Care facility. The Dallas-based company, which filed bankruptcy in May, announced this week plans to close Trumbull Regional, Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital and several satellite facilities in Trumbull and Mahoning counties no later than Sept. 20.
