Marlon Wayans brings laughs to Packard

Comedian Marlon Wayons brings his "Wild Child" tour to Packard Music Hall on Oct. 11.

Wayons first gained attention on the sketch comedy series "In Living Color," created by his brother Keenan Ivory Wayans, and then starred with his brother, Shawn Wayans, in the sitcom "The Wayans Bros.," which ran from 1995 to 1999. In 2017 he starred in the NBC sitcom "Marlon."

While most of his film work has been comedies such as "White Chicks," "Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood" and the "Scary Movie" franchise, his acting roles also include "Requiem for a Dream," "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and "Air."

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $39.50 to $99.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.
