BRISTOL TOWNSHIP — A Cortland man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early this morning on state Route 88.
Mark Moore Jr., 34, was driving west in a 2009 Mazda 3 around 4:30 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the road, struck two mailboxes and a tree, and overturned, according to a news release from the Warren post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Moore was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He died at the scene, the patrol report states.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
