WARREN -- Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced Friday the appointment of Natasha K. Natale to the Warren Municipal Court.
Natale, a Warren resident, is set to assume office May 10. She will be filling the vacancy left by the resignation of Judge Thomas Gysegem.
Gysegem retired from the bench at the end of March after a 29-year tenure in the judicial seat.
Natale will serve the remainder of the unexpired term. She will need to run in the November 2025 election to retain the position.
Prior to this appointment, she held the position of Senior Assistant Attorney General in the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Additionally, she previously served as general counsel for the Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program. Her professional background includes roles as a magistrate for the Portage County Common Pleas Court, assistant county prosecutor for the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s Office, practitioner at Natasha Frenchko, LLC, and associate attorney at Mead Pezillo LLP.
Natale earned her bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in 2000 and obtained her juris doctor from the University of Akron in 2004.
She is an active member of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Child Abuse Review Board.
