BAZETTA -- A man is undergoing a psychological evaluation after he went into the Circle K gas station on state Route 5 just before 10 a.m. and refused to come out, according to township police.
Officers from Bazetta, Cortland, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Trumbull County Sheriff's Office responded to the gas station after a call about a customer having some sort of mental breakdown. After about an hour, the man was coaxed out of the store by police wearing body armor who were armed with rifles, according to witnesses.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment and no charges had been filed as of this afternoon.
