WEATHERSFIELD — Weathersfield Township Police say a man’s body was found in an apartment while executing a search warrant early this morning.

Police Chief Michael J. Naples stated in a media release that Weathersfield police received assistance from the Niles Police Department Entry Team in the 3800 block of Niles Carver Road at 7 a.m.

When they entered they found a male deceased inside the apartment.

Naples says more details will be released as they become available. The incident is under investigation.
