Wed. 9:28 a.m.: Niles police investigating stabbing homicide

NILES -- Authorities in Niles are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Wednesday morning, according to Niles police.

Niles Police Chief Jay Holland said officers responded to an apartment complex along state Route 46 around 3 a.m. and found a man dead from stab wounds.

Holland said that no further information could be provided as far as the age of the victim and whether or not there were any suspects as the homicide is under investigation.
