WARREN — More than two years after a teen skateboarder’s foot was run over by a driver who then left the scene, Trumbull County 911 Director Ernest Cook is facing two misdemeanor charges in Eastern District Court in Brookfield.
Cook, 68, 7144 Wildwood Drive, Brookfield, was charged today with loss of physical control under the influence, a first-degree misdemeanor, and failure to report an accident, a minor misdemeanor, court records show. The charges were filed by Trooper Kevin Brown of the Southington post of the Ohio State Highwaty Patrol.
Cookás attorney, Rob Kokor, entered a not guilty plea on Cookás behalf today, which canceled an arraignment that was set Thursday, court records show.
