WARREN — A bookmobile bus hit a gas pump this morning at the Circle K convenience store at 4021 Parkman Road NW, resulting in about 30 to 50 gallons of spilled gasoline.
Warren firefighters said that Circle K employees had an “excellent response” to the accident, shutting off the pump and spreading absorbent material before more gasoline was spilled and spread. Some gasoline did leak into a sewer drain before it was contained, firefighters said.
The Warren City Water Department also is on the scene.
The accident occurred about 9:30 this morning. No injuries were reported.
