WARREN TOWNSHIP – Police are piecing together information in the shooting death of James Dotson, 33, who died at the hospital after being found early this morning, shot outside of the J and L Lounge on Highland Avenue in Warren Township.
Warren Township Police Chief Don Bishop said police were called to the scene at 1:56 a.m. and discovered “multiple casings all over the place,” but that nobody was being very cooperative at the scene.
The victim had been on parole after serving time in prison for a murder, and Bishop said they are investigating whether the shooting was retaliatory.
