Fund for Women & Girls honors five as ‘Gems of the Valley’

The Fund for Women & Girls, a community-led fund at the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, put the spotlight on the work of five incredible women at its Gems of the Valley event on Oct. 16. HALLOWEEN PARADES: Niles and Warren will host Halloween parades Sunday. The Niles parade will begin at 1 p.m., with parade participants to register and line up at Niles McKinley High School at noon. The parade will travel from the high school to Main Street, and travel from Federal Street to State Street by the Niles viaduct.
