Participants sought for Veterans Day parade

WARREN — The Tribune Chronicle is seeking participants for its annual Veterans Day parade on Nov. 11. The parade will begin immediately after the 11 a.m. ceremony at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Warren, which is approximately at 12:15 p.m. The ceremony is being coordinated by the Trumbull County Veterans Service Commission. Lineup will take place at Perkins Park. CHILI COOK-OFF: The Vienna Community Action Committee’s final Columbus Day chili cook-off, which has taken place for 21 years, will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Vienna Fire Department, 33 Youngstown Kingsville Road. Plans for 2026 are to have an all-new, larger chili cookoff on a Saturday. Monday’s event will include chili, homemade desserts, 50 / 50 drawing and basket raffle.
