Ward-Thomas hosts museum night

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: McKinley Memorial Library will present Night at the Museum from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to spend an evening at the Ward-Thomas Museum. They will listen to a spooky story read by a McKinley Memorial Library staff member and take a candlelight tour of the Ward-Thomas House before enjoying apple cider and cookies in the carriage house. TRICK OR TREAT AT EASTWOOD: The 27th annual Trick or Treat at the Eastwood Field in Niles, presented by Once Upon a Child, will take place 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a rain date of Thursday. The event is for children ages 12 and younger. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. He has been in the business over 50 years, and we all know better than to pour grease or oil down the sink. When pouring boiling water down the sink (such as when draining spaghetti), always let the cold water run while draining and for a minute or so after.
