Howland Schools’ meal program receives $2,500 donation from Honda dealer

HOWLAND — Howland Local Schools extends its sincere gratitude to Apostolakis Honda for their generous $2,500 donation to the district’s school meal program. Howland church hosts craft show

FREE EVENT: The Helping Hands Craft Show will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Howland Community Church. There will be a vendor raffle with a donated handmade quilt. Admission is free. Proceeds benefit the free fellowship lunch, the Client Choice Pantry, and other church missions. Family Mission sets food giveaway

FOOD GIVEAWAY: The Warren Family Mission, 1312 Market St., will host an emergency food giveaway at noon Friday at the mission food pantry while supplies last. The mission is providing assistance because of the government shutdown and SNAP benefits not being issued in November.
