McKinley Library to present Presidents’ Day Celebration

PRESIDENTS’ DAY CELEBRATION: McKinley Memorial Library will present a Presidents’ Day Celebration 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles. At 2:30 p.m., a speaker from the Niles Historical Society will discuss what Niles was like in the 1840s, when the McKinley Family lived there. The Birthplace Home will be open for self-guided tours. Some memories not missed during cold weather

By the time you read this, we will have had a couple of days in the 30s this week. But as I am writing this article, we are headed into another weekend with below-average temperatures. Seems to be the theme of this winter. At least there shouldn’t be too much additional snow this weekend. Crafting hearts for Valentines

VALENTINE’S CRAFT DAY: The McKinley Memorial Library will present a DIY folded book heart craft 5:30 to 7 p.m. today at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles.
