IT SUITS YOU: The Trumbull County Family and Children First Council, in partnership with the Transition Age Youth Group from Cadence Care Network, will present "It Suits You" from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the TMHA Building, 4076 Youngstown Road, Warren.
The mission of "It Suits You" is to offer new and gently used male-oriented dress clothing to any area high school student to make special events more affordable. Clothing for the event has been donated by the community with a special thanks to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. There is no cost for students to participate regardless of income. NAACP GALA: The Trumbull County No. 3206 NAACP Gala will be 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Enzo's Restaurant, 2918 Elm Road, Warren. The theme is "We the People." Keynote speaker is Pastor Vincent Peterson II, senior pastor of Third Baptist Church in Youngstown. The featured violinist is Andrew Brundidge.
The annual Community Engagement Recipients for 2026 will honor students for their leadership and scholastic achievements within the NAACP. They are Ayanna Provitt, Zoe Tynes, Channa Wells and Dominic Salero-McCoy.

TRUSTEE ASSOCIATION: The Trumbull County Township Association will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Farmington Senior Center, 150 College St., West Farmington. The speaker is Nicholas Coggins, assistant director of the Trumbull County Planning Commission. The event is being sponsored by the Southington and Farmington trustees.
