NIGHT MARKET: The Wean Foundation will host a night market 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Avon Oaks in Girard. The free outdoor event will feature local vendors, handmade goods, produce, food, music and more.

CHAMPION FOOD TRUCK NIGHT: The Champion Township food truck night will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the township administration grounds, 249 Marshall Ave. There will be cornhole and live music. Those attending can bring a lawn chair.

PASTA PALEONTOLOGY: The McKinley Memorial Library will have Kids Club: Pasta Paleontology at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the McKinley Birthplace Home. Children ages 5 to 11 will use different kinds of pasta to make their very own fossilized dinosaur skeleton. The activity is related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math). Kids Club meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month.

COMMUNITY SALE: The annual Middlefield Community Yard, Trunk and Craft sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The event is sponsored by the Middlefield Chamber of Commerce The main site of the sale will be Harrington Square, 15561 W. High St. in Middlefield, with a variety of vendors and items. There will be food available, and the shops of Harrington Square also will be open.
