Peace Pole dedication set
PEACE POLE DEDICATION: The Howland Rotary Club will have a peace pole dedication ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday at Orwig Park off East Market Street by Howland High School. The peace pole serves as a symbol of hope and goodwill carrying the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” The celebration will be 5 to 8 p.m. and include food trucks and live music. The event is co-hosted by the Rotary Club and Howland Township.
CHURCH CELEBRATES 250TH: Central Christian Church, East Market Street, Warren, will celebrate America’s 250th with a celebration following the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday with food and a program with people dressed in period attire.
