Kids to customize clothes at park event

TIE-DYE DAY AT PARK: Tie-dye day for children 13 and under will take place 1 to 3 p.m. today at the Woodland Park building in McDonald. Participants are asked to bring one personal item to dye. Items and materials to dye will be provided while supplies last.

FALLS MARKET: The Newton Falls weekly farmers’ market will be from 5 to 8 p.m. each Tuesday at Four Corners Park at Center Street and Broad Street in downtown Newton Falls. The market will feature more than 20 local vendors offering farm-fresh produce, baked goods, honey, jams, flowers, and other locally produced goods, with additional vendors and activities expected throughout the season.

VACCINE CLINIC: The Warren City Health District will provide a COVID-19 vaccine clinic 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at 258 E. Market St., Warren. No appointment is needed.

METAPHYSICAL: Metaphysical Insights 528 will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the SCOPE / YWCA building, 375 N. Park Ave., Warren. There is a $5 charge at the door.

BOOK CHAT: McKinley Memorial Library will present “Family Book Chat-The Monster’s Bones” 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles. Families are invited to learn about the fascinating discovery of the first Tyrannosaurus rex in 1902 and chat about it together. Participants will discuss “The Monster’s Bones” by David K. Randall. Read the original book (for adults) or the young readers’ edition (for ages 10-14).

OSTOMY SUPPORT: The Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group will meet 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at 979 Tibbetts Wick Road, Suite A, Girard. Parking is free and light refreshments will be served.
