Library reschedules Strawberry Festival

MUSIC ON THE LAWN CANCELED: Because of predicted rain on Thursday, Music on the Lawn and the Strawberry Festival at the McKinley Memorial Library has been rescheduled for July 2.

CAR SHOW: The Elm Road Theater Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will take place 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the drive-in, 1895 Elm Road NE, Warren. The judged show will have 67 awards and 55 trophies for the top five in 11 classes. There will be a DJ, basket raffle, 50-50 raffle, arts and crafts vendors, and concessions. Registration is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is a $10 fee to enter a car, truck or motorcycle, and $10 per spot for arts and crafts vendors.

SUMMER MARKET: The Ward Thomas House in Niles will have a summer market noon to 4 p.m. Sunday on the grounds of the historic home off Brown and Third streets. There will be local vendors and tours of the museum, Victorian garden and greenhouse.

TEEN GAMING CLUB: The McKinley Memorial LIbrary will present Teen Gaming Club 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the McKinley Birthplace Home, Niles. Teens ages 12-18 are invited to choose from a variety of games, both on the table and on the screen. Snacks and all supplies will be provided. Registration is required at 330-652-1704, ext. 4.

HEALTH DISTRICT INFO: The Warren City Health District will have an information table at this year’s Chalk on The Walk & Youth Art Day event, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Courthouse Square, Warren.
