CAR SHOW: A benefit classic car show “The Cars are the Stars” will take place 1to 3 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of the Girard MultiGenerational Center, Trumbull Avenue Registration of vehicles is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be prizes. Admission is free. This is the 11th year for the show. For information, call 330-545-6596.
COZY CRAFTING: The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles will host Cozy Crafting-Dried Flower Ornaments 4:30 pm.Thursday at the McKinley Birthplace Home. The program is for ages 12 and older. Participants will create an ornament using dried flowers while supplies last.
MOVIE NIGHT: The Morgandale Nazarene Church, 1985 Overland Ave, Warren, will have a free family-friendly movie night Friday. Community members can bring a lawn chair or blanket and arrive by 8 p.m. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held inside. ANIMAL SHOW: The Mosquito Lake State Park in Bazetta will host a wildlife show at 4 p.m. Saturday at the park amphitheater. The program will be hosted by the park wildlife and naturalist team with live animals.
SEEKING TINY ART SHOW SUBMISSIONS: Beginning Monday, artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to stop by the McKinley Memorial Library to pick up a free art kit and entry form for the 2nd Annual Tiny Art Show. One kit per participant. All supplies are included while supplies last.

HERBALIST PRESENTATION: Master Herbalist and Certified Nutritional Consultant Jim Sayers will discuss the folklore and historic uses of the dandelion, as well as its traditional and modern medicinal applications in an immersive Herbal Ally Way class 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the McKinley Birthplace Home. FREE YOGA: Join in for free outdoor yoga at 5 p.m. every Tuesday at the Women’s Park, led by local instructor Kimberly Lynn Ford. Mats are limited, so bring your own if you have one. All are welcome.
WELLNESS ON WHEELS: The Warren City Health District’s Wellness on Wheels Mobile Unit will be onsite 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Warren Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.
SUMMER ART CAMP: The Youngstown State University Department of Art will host a summer art camp June 22 to 26 at Bliss Hall on the YSU Campus for ages 13 to 17. The camp will be 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. all five days. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on studio art experiences across a varied range of artistic media. PRESS CLUB SPEAKER: The Youngstown Press Club will have attorney David Marburger as guest speaker at noon June 18 at the main branch of the Public Library of Youngtown and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Marburger, who was the founding general counsel for the Ohio Coalition for Open Government, will discuss the legal threats facing the news media. Preregistration is required to attend by June 12. Cost is $30 for club members and $40 for non members. A portion of the proceeds from the event goes to the club’s college scholarship.
