‘STAR WARS’ TRIVIA: “Star Wars” fans can gather at 6 p.m. today at the Harding Meeting Room at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library for a trivia night for adults. Fans can gather in teams or work solo to test their knowledge of the galaxy. Winners will receive a prize. The event is free.

SUPPORT GROUP MEETING: The Youngstown Area Scleroderma Support Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. today by Zoom. The meeting is open to the public and focuses on issues of people affected in all ways by scleroderma. DOCUMENT SHREDDING: Document shredding will be offered 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District’s Trumbull County Collection Facility, 5138 Enterprise Drive, Warren, for Geauga and Trumbull county residents only. MOTHER’S DAY CREATION; The McKinley Memorial Library in Niles will host a drop-in Mother’s Day card creation 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Visitors of all ages can create a card for their moms. Supplies will be provided.

PT BARNUM: The Harriet Taylor Upton Association will host Tom Phoolery for the 10 a.m. Wednesday program. Phoolery, a magician, will discuss P.T. Barnum of the P.T. Barnum Circus at the Upton House, Mahoning Avenue. The program is free, but donations are welcome.

YSU SCHOOL DAY: The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will host a Youngstown State University School Day 11 a.m. Friday at the 7 17 Credit Union Field in Niles.

VACCINE CLINIC: The Warren City Health District, 258 E. Market St., will provide a public COVID-19/flu vaccine cinic from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday. No appointment is needed.

FREE DANCE LESSONS: USA Dance Youngstown Warren Chapter #2015 hosts free weekly Latin dance lessons and dance parties in May. Salsa lessons will be given at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Pollock Room at Penguin City Brewery with salsa lessons led by Rob O’Bryant. USA Dance DJ will host General Dancing post lesson dance featuring Latin and Club dance tunes for everyone until 9:30 p.m.

AUTHOR TALK: The McKinley Memorial Library will present “On Courage, Turmoil and the Transformative Power of Love” with Marjan Kamali, at 7 p.m. Thursday at the library.

KIDS CLUB: The McKinley Birthplace Home is hosting Kids Club: Plants 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the home in Niles.

Children ages 5 to 11 are invited on the first and third Thursday of every month to enjoy a fun activity related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). This week, students will learn about the importance of plants and their different parts and will start their own seeds to take home. Registration for this program is required at 330-652-1704, Ext. 4.

WELLNESS ON WHEELS: The Warren City Health District’s Wellness on Wheels will be onsite 10:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, at Community Volunteer Council Food Distribution Center, 1642 W.
