PIONEER CEMETERY WALKING TOUR: Explore the secrets of Pioneer Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in the area where the remains of John Stark Edwards and other pioneers of the Connecticut Western Reserve were laid to rest, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Participants should meet at the entrance to the cemetery, located behind the Akron Children’s building, 661 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren.

WILDLIFE SHOW: Mosquito Lake Park will host a wildlife show at 6 p.m. Saturday at the amphitheater. The park’s naturalist team and volunteers will host the program.

BUSINESS FRAUD TALK: As part of 7 17 Credit Union’s Coffee & Connections series, local law enforcement and fraud experts will talk with businesses about how they can protect themselves from fraud, 8 to 9 a.m. Thursday at the 7 17 Credit Union Vienna Branch, 585 Youngstown Kingsville Road SE, Vienna.

This gathering offers business owners and community members an opportunity to learn about fraud trends, preventive measures and resources available to safeguard their operations.

MVAS GUEST PRESENTATION: The Mahoning Valley Archaeological Society will host a free presentation from Matt Burr of the Firelands Museum in Norwalk at 4 p.m. Sunday at The Ohio State University Mahoning County Extension, 490 S. Broad St., Canfield.

Burr oversees the Laning-Young Research Room and collection at the Firelands Historical Society museum in Norwalk. The museum has assembled one of the finest collections of prehistoric Native American artifacts in the state, according to its website. Burr has worked with the Firelands Archaeological Research Center and the Sandusky Bay Chapter of the Archaeological Society of Ohio in making the Firelands Museum a “repository” for artifacts recovered from archaeological excavations conducted in Northern Ohio.
