TEE OFF FORE TAILS: The Tee Off Fore Tails golf outing to benefit The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project in Warren will be June 6 at Old Avalon Golf Course in Warren. The event will take place rain or shine and will feature a 50/50 raffle, basket raffle and skill games including men’s and women’s longest drive, men’s and women’s closest to the pin, and men’s and women’s longest putt.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. and shotgun start is at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $125 per person or $500 per team of four, which includes a golf cart, lunch and dinner.

The golf outing is hosted by Yeagerbaum’s Bar & Grill in Burghill and Kondos Koncrete LLC.

FREE BIKE PICKUP: The Newton Falls Police Department will have a free bicycle pickup 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, 19 N. Canal St., Newton Falls. Adults and children’s bicycles may be available. Bikes have been collected as lost property over several years and remain unclaimed. Bikes come “as is” and may need maintenance before riding.

WESTERN TRAVEL: Join the Trumbull County Travel Club on a 14-day tour, Aug. 23 through Sept. 5, to celebrate America250 and Route 66’s 100th anniversary.

On the Great Western Adventure and Route 66, guests will visit Arizona, Colorado, the Texas Panhandle, New Mexico and Great Plains as travelers move west through small towns, cowboy and Indian cultural sites, the Grand Canyon and the four corners of the country, where one can be in all four states at one time.

FIREWOOD EXPO: The International Firewood Expo returns to the Trumbull County Fairgrounds June 5 and 6, bringing together firewood and forestry professionals, equipment manufacturers, content creators and enthusiasts for two days of hands-on demonstrations and industry connection.

Hosted by Ohio Wood Burner Ltd., attendees can expect a wide range of firewood industry equipment and products, including live demonstrations and exhibitor showcases spanning processing, cutting, handling and related tools and services. In past years, exhibitors and visitors have traveled from across the United States and internationally.
