LIBERTY PARK CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION: Girard city will celebrate 100 years of Liberty Memorial Park with a community event noon to 7 p.m. Saturday. The family-friendly event will include kids activities, bounce houses, face painting, a balloon artist and a vendor market. Live music schedule: 1 to 3 p.m., Girard Community Swingtime Band; 5 to 7 p.m., Dead Flowers. Food truck schedule: noon to 4 p.m., Cario’s Food Truck; 4 to 7 p.m., La Palma Food Truck

Free shuttle service will be available from the Elruth Avenue stadium parking lot to Liberty Park. The park is located off South Elruth Avenue, Park Drive and Moser Road.

WELLNESS ON WHEELS: The Warren City Health District’s Wellness on Wheels Mobile Unit will be onsite 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Urban Tap, for Akron Children’s Bike Smart Event, 439 E. Market St., Warren.
