REDISTRICTING MEETING: Warren 6th Ward Councilwoman Honeya Price will host a redistricting meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson PK-8 School on Tod Avenue. This is one in a series of meetings on redistricting in Warren.

RURITAN FLOWER SALE: The Grand Valley Ruritan Organization is hosting its annual flower sale 3 to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the northwest corner of state Routes 322 and 45 in Orwell. The sale will be every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in May. There will be vegetable plants available after Mother’s Day.

SENIOR PRODUCTION SHOW: The Trumbull Senior Production Company’s 16th annual show, “Feel The Beat,” will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Lakeview High School, 300 Hillman Drive, Cortland. Tickets are $20 at the door or call 330-891-8655. The program is written, choreographed and directed by Jason Burgermyer.

MODEL AIRCRAFT CLUB: The Mahoning County Model Aircraft Club monthly meeting is 6 p.m. Wednesday at Belleria Pizza, Boardman, with dinner at 5 p.m. New members are welcome.

MOVIE AND DINNER: The Church of Jesus Christ, 1900 Keefer Road, Liberty, will host a dinner and movie night Wednesday with dinner at 6 p.m. and movie at 6:30 p.m. The event is free. The church hosts a dinner and movie on the last Wednesday of each month.

BBB SCHOLARSHIP: Applications are open for the BBB’s Educational Scholarship Program, which provides information and develops resources that promote and build awareness of ethical business practices and marketplace trust to consumers and businesses.

The Ethics & Integrity Scholarship offers five $1,000 one-year scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are employed by an accredited business or are the child or grandchild of the owner or employee of an accredited business.

Applicants must also be a high school senior, with a primary residence in Columbiana, Mahoning or Trumbull counties; have plans to attend a college, university, community college or trade school in the year immediately following high school graduation; and submit a 500-word essay or a 4-minute video about the meaning of ethics and integrity to the applicant.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: The Warren City Health District, 258 E. Market St., will provide a children’s immunization clinic 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. May 4. No appointment is needed. Parents should bring updated shot records for the children.

WELLNESS ON WHEELS: The Warren City Health District’s Wellness on Wheels will be on-site 10 to 11 a.m. May 5 at the Warren Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, alongside the Trumbull Mobile Market.

UNMUTE THE UNCOMFORTABLE: Coleman Health Services is marking the fifth anniversary of its Unmute the Uncomfortable symposiums tackling relevant issues surrounding mental health and suicide prevention. This year’s program, The Human Algorithm: Connection in Crisis, will explore how the human experience meets the digital world, chatbot therapists, invisible bias, socially responsible AI, the intersection of mental health and social media, and policy solutions.

The keynote is former WNBA player and poet Imani McGee-Stafford.

The daylong event will take place May 7 at the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles. Coleman Health Services is presenting the event in partnership with the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board. The cost is $100, which includes breakfast and lunch.
