INSPIRING MINDS GALA: Tickets are on sale now for the Inspiring Minds 20th Fundraising Gala, which runs from 2 to 5 p.m. April 25 at its headquarters, 837 Woodland St. NE, Warren.

It will include food, inspiring student stories and community celebration. Attendees also will have the opportunity to participate in auctions and raffles and to purchase merchandise.

Early bird tickets are available at imyouth.org/fundraising-gala/ for $65 per person or $750 for a reserved table for 10 with a name/logo displayed on the table sign.

The price increases to $75 and $850 on April 1.

ARTS EXTRAVAGANZA: Champion school district will showcase the arts from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the K-8 Building. Students will showcase their artwork, along with musical and instrumental performances.

TEEN HANGOUT: Community Connection, in partnership with Torch Conference, will host a dynamic Teen Hangout Event 6 to 11 p.m. Friday at Shalom COGIC, 4179 Parkman Road NW, Warren.

This late-night event is designed to provide a safe, fun and engaging environment for youth ages 10 to 18. Attendees will enjoy a variety of activities, including basketball, kickball, video games, diamond painting and food, along with a meaningful “Real Talk Session” focused on encouraging open conversation and personal growth.

NIGHT AT THE RACES: The Alba Club will host a ”Night at the Races” beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Ali Baba Grotto Hall, 760 Perkins Jones Road, Warren. Ten authentic races will be run. Each race has 10 horses and it is $15 for each horse or five for $50 (limited number of horses for sale on a first come, first serve basis). You can name your horse or sponsor an entire race for $50. Races start at 7 p.m. Cost is $10 at the door, which includes food and drink. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
