Teens invited to gaming club
GAMING CLUB: McKinley Memorial Library will host its gaming club 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles. In this new club, teens ages 12-18 are invited to choose from a variety of games, both on the table and on the screen. Snacks and all supplies will be provided. This program will be once a month.

AMERICAN WOMEN PROGRAM: South Newbury Union Chapel will host “Victoria Woodhull-Shattering Glass Ceilings” at 6 p.m. Thursday at Kent State Geauga, 14111 Claridon Troy Road, Burton. The 30-minute movie is a part of “Rightfully Hers: American Women and the Vote.” The program is a part of the traveling exhibit from the National Archives. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the film.
Woodhull was the first woman to seek the office of American president before women had the right to vote.
SECRET WORLDS: McKinley Memorial Library will present “Explore Secret Worlds in the Earth, Sea, and Sky” at 7 p.m. Thursday. New York Times bestselling and award-winning children’s author Kate Messner will delve into her “Over and Under” series, which is best suited for a kindergarten to third-grade audience.
