Hartford Park Committee hosting annual raffle
HARTFORD PARK COMMITTEE: The Hartford Community Park Committee will host its annual raffle basket extravaganza Saturday at the Hartford Hills Winery, The event will feature music by Captain Colada, and a 50-50 raffle with the drawing at 8 p.m. For information visit the Hartford Park Committee social media page at hartfordtwp.org for information.
ST PATRICK’S DANCE: The Friendly Squares will host its monthly square dancing 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Niles SCOPE Center, 13 E. State St, The caller is Gene Hammond. The theme for the dancing is St. Patrick’s Day. Dress is casual and light refreshments will be served. A $7 donation per person is requested at the door For information call 330-506-0272.
IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: The Warren City Health District will be providing a Children’s Immunization Clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the Health District, 258 E. Market St., Warren. No appointment needed. Bring updated shot records.
CHILI COOKOFF: Deadline to enter Cornerhouse Christian Church’s Chili Cookoff and Cake Auction is Saturday. The Chili Cookoff and Cake Auction will take place 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on March 21, at Cornerhouse Christian Church in Hubbard.
The registration fee is $5 per chili entry and includes a sampler ticket. Cash prizes include $50 Best Overall Chili, $25 Best Spicy, $25 Best Chili. Chili and cake entries should arrive by 3 p.m.
Tasting begins at 3:30 p.m. Tickets: $5 for a sampler ticket or $5 per bowl; Kids under 5 eat free. Specialty cakes and desserts will be available for auction to eat in or take home.
Proceeds will benefit CHCC’s 2026 children’s programs.

AGRICULTURAL CONFERENCE: Farmers, farmland owners, and agricultural business owners are invited to the 2026 Farm, Business, Land, and Homeowner conference 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m, March 28 at Grand Valley High School, 111 Grand Valley Ave., Orwell. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. While you attend workshops, children (ages 4-12) can enjoy our Kids’ Ag Adventure Club — a fun, supervised program with hands-on ag activities related to farming and agriculture. Participants can select from different sessions and topics. Registration for Farm Bureau members is $20 per member ($10 refunded upon event attendance). Nonmembers are $75 per person or $140 per couple (must live in the same household; includes a Farm Bureau membership). Kids ages 4-12 are free. Registration is required by March 24.
