• BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will have a special meeting at 1 p.m. today at the township administration building for monthly department head meetings, to review quotes for lighting at the township park, and an executive session on potential litigation.
• NEWTON FALLS VILLAGE COUNCIL will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the municipal building.
• NILES CITY COUNCIL will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the senior center.
• TRUMBULL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS will have their regular meeting at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the commissioners hearing room.
