• GIRARD COUNCIL UTILITY COMMITTEE will meet at 3 p.m. today at the mayor’s office at the city building.

• WEATHERSFIELD BOARD OF EDUCATION will have a work session at 5:30 p.m. today at the high school media room followed by the organizational meeting at 6:45 p.m. and regular meeting at 7 p.m.

• LORDSTOWN VILLAGE UTILITY COMMITTEE will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the caucus room at the municipal building. The moratorium committee will meet at 5:30 p.m.

• SOUTHINGTON TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES will have a special meeting at 6 p.m Thursday at the DiVieste Banquet Centre for needed action on township items.

• CHAMPION TOWNSHIP ZONING COMMISSION will have the reorganizational meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at the township hall.

• McDONALD VILLAGE COUNCIL will have a special meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in council chambers at the municipal building to meet with candidates for the vacant council seat.

• TRUMBULL CAREER & TECHNICAL CENTER BOARD will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday for the organizational meeting followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m.
