WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA: Niles city has partnered for Wreaths Across America and will place wreaths on veterans’ graves at the Niles City Cemetery. The community can sponsor a wreath for each veteran’s grave while paying tribute to fallen veterans. Niles has hosted the event for the past four years with 1,600 wreaths placed in 2024. This year’s ceremony takes place at noon Saturday. The wreaths will be laid immediately after the ceremony. Each wreath costs $17. HOLIDAY CRAFT: The Girard Free Library will present unique pieces for the holiday season to add a dash of Christmas spirit to the wardrobe at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Register at the library.
STORYTIME WITH SANTA: Storytime with Sanat Claus will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Southington American Legion.
HOLIDAY CRAFTS: The JFK Home and School Christmas holiday craft show will be 11 a.m, to 3 p.m. Saturday at St.Teresa of Calcutta Parish-Blessed Sacrament Church gymnasium. There will be arts, gifts and decor, a basket raffle and a 50 / 50 raffle.
SOCIETY TO MEET: The Trumbull County Genealogy Society will host its annual Christmas party at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Harding Room at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library. The program is a Christmas story by Barb Layfield. Many Christmas goodies will be served.
GINGERBREAD HOUSES: The McKinley Memorial Library will host an all ages Gingerbread House Workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Gingerbread architects of all ages are invited to build and decorate their own mini gingerbread houses. Participants may use the supplies provided or bring their own. This program will be at the McKinley Birthplace Home. All ages are welcome. Registration is required at 330-652-1704, ext. 3.
OSTOMY GROUP MEETING: The Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group meets 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, 8401 Market St., Boardman, Woodland room. Parking is free and refreshments will be served. The group offers education, encouragement and support to anyone whose life is affected by an ostomy.
