HALLOWEEN ON MAIN STREET: The Cortland Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 168 will host Halloween on Main Street 5 to 7 p,m. Saturday. The event will be a free evening of candy giveaways and family fun.
PUMPKIN STORYTIME: The Southington Community Trust will host a pumpkin patch storytime at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chalker building in Southington.
TRUNK OR TREAT: The Trumbull Career and Technical Center, 529 Educational Highway, Champion, will host a trunk or treat in the parking lot 5:30 to 7 p.m. today. Costumes are encouraged.
PUMPKIN PAINTING: Pumpkin painting will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lordstown Elementary School. Pumpkins and materials will be provided. The completed pumpkins will be displayed at the old schoolhouse.
SPIRIT DAY PARADE: Weathersfield schools will host a spirit day parade at 6 p.m. today with a pep rally and bonfire to follow at the township park gazebo. The parade route runs along Route 46 from St. Mary Church to the township park. The public can cheer on the football team as they get ready to take on the McDonald football team Friday.
DRUG TAKE BACK: Bazetta Police Department will host a drug take back 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the police station, 2671 McCleary Jacoby Road. If unable to attend the event, there is a drop box located in the lobby of the police department during normal business hours.
