Food trucks to flock to Bristol on Friday

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY: Bristol Township will present “Food Truck Friday” 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the township park at the corner of state Routes 45 and 88. In addition to the food trucks, activities for children will be offered.
UPCYCLE MINT TINS: McKinley Memorial Library will present Teen Scene: Upcycling Mint Tins from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles.
Teens ages 12 to 18 are invited to transform hinged mint tins into useful crafts. Teens will make their tins into a trinket box, wallet, or tiny scrapbook. Pizza will be served. All supplies will be provided. Registration is recommended at 330-652-1704, Ext. 4.
NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING: The Northwest Neighborhood Association’s monthly meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Methodist Church, Warren. Warren Municipal Court Judge Natasha Natale will be the speaker.
Socks for the Warren Family Mission are being collected. The church pantry is always in need of nonperishable foods.
Also, association members will help with the citywide cleanup at 10 a.m. Saturday. Those interested in taking part will meet at the church parking lot.
OSTOMY SUPPORT: The Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group will meet 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Tibbetts Wick Homecare Office, 979 Tibbetts Wick Road, Suite A, Girard.
The group offers education, encouragement and support to anyone whose life is affected by an ostomy. Refreshments will be served.

COVID CLINIC: The Warren City Health District will be providing a public COVID vaccine clinic 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Warren City Health District, 258 E. Market St., Warren.
ARGUE LESS: McKinley Memorial Library presents “Argue Less and Talk More” with communication expert and trial attorney Jefferson Fisher at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, streamed live online.

GRIEF SHARE: Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill Hubbard Road, Youngstown, will begin 13 weeks of Grief Share, starting 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 11 at the church.
