Weekend Madness starts at 10 a.m.
FALLS BIKE / CAR SHOWS: The Newton Falls Weekend Madness bike show, hosted by the Zip City Riders, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on West Broad Street. Registration, which is $10, takes place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., bike games from 3 to 5 p.m. and awards 5 p.m. A car show is set from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday on West Broad Street, Newton Falls, Registration, which is $10, takes place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., judging 2 to 4 p.m. and awards 5 p.m.
TALK WITH A TRUSTEE: Brookfield Township trustees will host a Talk with a Trustee from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Brookfield Library.
GROVE STREET BLOCK PARTY: The Grove Street Block Party will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brookfield Library Branch. Grove Street will be closed down for a community event featuring a car show, touch-a-truck, music and animals. Touch a Truck will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nate the Great will do balloon sculptures for kids, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and the Outback Ray animal show is set for 2:30 p.m.
ARTIFACT AND RELIC SHOW: Pat’s Relic, Youngstown Archaeology and the Mahoning Valley Archeological Society will host an Indian Artifact and Relic Show from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Five 4’s Distillery, 417 N. Canal St., Newton Falls.
The show is free and open to the public. Displays featuring artifacts ranging from field walkers, collectors, and enthusiasts will be on hand as well as items for sale.
This event is for all ages to learn and connect with others who show interest in collecting and archaeology.
BEACH BASH: Mosquito Lake State Park will host a beach bash 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the beach pavilion. There will be a free concert,a 50/50 raffle and food trucks. Bring lawn chairs and get ready to relax as the sun goes down on the lake.
HOWLAND FARMERS MARKET: The Howland Farmers Market will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday, rain or shine, through Oct. 11 at 8273 High St. NE. There will be vendors and artisans. For information, call 330-856-2340.
BEEKEEPING INTRO: McKinley Memorial Library will present Intro to Beekeeping at 6 p.m. June 24 at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles. John Moss, vice president of the Trumbull County Beekeepers Association and hobbyist beekeeper of Wicked Sweet Honey Bees, will explain how to get started in beekeeping, describe the equipment needed and provide an overall idea of what beekeeping is all about. Ages 12 and up. Registration is required at 330-652-1704, Ext. 3.
BIKE CRUISE-IN: A classic car and bike cruise will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Greene Eagle Winery, 2576 Davis Peck Road. Free for the public and $10 registration per vehicle. All makes and models are welcome. The event will include a 50/50 raffle, auction and food trucks.
THE ODDER LIFE: McKinley Memorial Library presents Living the Odder Life with Katherine Applegate, streamed live at 4 p.m. June 24.

BEEKEEPERS MEET: The Columbiana & Mahoning County Beekeepers Association will meet for a potluck lunch at 1 p.m., followed by a meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive, Austintown. Peggy Garnes, from the Ohio State Beekeepers Association, will discuss Fair Judging: the requirements for honey comb and products for fair entries. A Q&A will follow. Anyone interested in beekeeping is welcome to attend.
