Champion students hosting toy drive for kids at hospital

Seeing Eye

TOY DRIVE: Champion High School National Honor Society students are hosting a cash and toy drive during the month of March to benefit the children at Akron Children’s Boardman Campus. The children in the hospital aren’t there under ideal conditions and the effort to make their stay a little brighter is impactful. Students will be collecting cash and new toys to donate to the child life center of the Beeghley campus. The Boardman campus is in need of new Matchbox cars, Barbies, newborn / infant toys (such as teethers and large soft blocks) and board books. The full list of toys and restrictions is available at www.akronchildrens.org/pages/Giving-Patient-Wish-Lists.html.

They plan to involve as many schools and organizations as possible to make a difference in the lives of the children. Students want to work with local organizations.
