CHURCH TO GIVE AWAY TURKEYS: Rust City Church at the Eastwood Mall will give away 300 Thanksgiving turkeys to local families in need for the holiday season 6 to 8 p.m. today in the parking lot near the Scrappers field.

Hot cocoa and hot dogs will be provided.

WINTER STORY TIME: McKinley Memorial Library will present Winter Story Time 11 a.m. on Mondays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16, in the children’s room of the library.

Caregivers and their children ages 0-4 years are invited to attend story time to encourage a love of reading with fun stories, songs and crafts. Each week will feature a different theme.

MOVIE CLUB: McKinley Memorial Library will present the Movie Club 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the McKinley Birthplace Home in Niles.

Participants can watch the selected movie at home, then meet fellow movie buffs for a discussion on the first Tuesday of each month.

This month, participants will watch “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” directed by Frank Capra.
