Historical society sets adult-only tour of cemetery

OAKWOOD AFTER DARK: Trumbull County Historical Society is hosting an Adults Only Tour: Oakwood After Dark, at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Cost is $30 and includes an adult beverage and an exclusive tour of Oakwood Cemetery. Purchase tickets by calling the historical society at 330-394-4653.

SUMMER KIDS: The Warren Heritage Center, Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, will hold Summer Kids programs 1 to 3:30 p.m. July 22 to 26. INDIAN CAMPFIRE: An Indian Campfire is being held at 8 p.m. today, at the Moss Ancestral Home, 1499 Burnett St., Mineral Ridge. Bill Moss, as Wowaton, will entertain with games and activities while you learn about the Native Americans.

The Moss Ancestral Home, built in the 1830s, will be open prior to the campfire from 6 to 8 p.m. with refreshments afterward. Bring a lawn chair. A rain date is scheduled for the same time Saturday.

The Moss Ancestral Home and Mineral Ridge Historical Society have open houses on the second Sunday of every month from April to November and will be open on their regularly scheduled day, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
