WEST FARMINGTON FESTIVAL: The West Farmington Festival will be Thursday to Saturday at the village park. Opening ceremony is at 5 p.m. Thursday. The annual festival includes food, games, parade, rides, vendors, clown, car show and music. There also will be a watermelon eating contest at 6 p.m. Thursday and tug of war competition at 7 p.m. Friday.
CHURCH RUMMAGE SALE: The Guiding Light Presbyterian Church, 890 Churchill Hubbard Road, Girard, is hosting a rummage sale 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
