MAKE AN ECLIPSE BUTTON: The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will hold an event for adults to make an eclipse button 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the library's Maker Studio. The public will be allowed to use the button maker to create a pinback button, featuring eclipse-themed designs ahead of the solar eclipse April 8. All materials provided. For adults. EQUAL PAY DAY: The Youngstown Business and Professional Women will recognize Equal Pay Day 2024 with a mixer 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Coaches Burger Bar, 5529 Mahoning Avenue, Austintown. The event will highlight legislative solutions to ending unfair pay practices. Attendees are encouraged to wear the color red to symbolize how far women and minorities are "in the red" with their pay.
The cost of admission to the mixer is $10 and can be paid in advance by accessing ybpw1920@gmail.com. The guest speaker is Valarie A. Nash, a human resources subject matter specialist and consultant.
