CHESS CLUB: The McKinley Memorial Birthplace Home Chess Club meets 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Saturday at the library. Take your own chess set or use one from the library. Lessons will not be provided.
137TH ALUMNI BANQUET: The Hartford-Badger Alumni Association is in the process of planning the 137th annual Alumni Banquet, set for 6 p.m. May 11 at the Sharpsville VFW Post 6404, 215 Walnut Ext., Sharpsville, Pa. The Class of 1974 will be honored.
The cost is $20. Reserva-tions are required by calling Helen Burns at 330-772-3051 by Friday.
CRAFT SHOW: A craft show will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sharon VFW.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the HOPE Buddy Project.
NEOFA CAMP: The Northeast Ohio Forestry Association is seeking interested eighth-graders through graduating seniors in attending Camp Canopy. The camp is June 9-14 at FFA Camp Muskingum in Carrollton. The camp is centered on forestry and wildlife.
The association is accepting sponsorship applications to cover $400 of the $450 camp registration fees. To apply, interested students should contact Mike Lanave at 330-831-8201 or email neofa1972@gmail.com for an application.
