SPECIAL BUNNY: The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley is holding its 10-year anniversary celebration of Special Bunny from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday at Cafaro Company's Eastwood Mall in Niles.
Families must register at AutismMV.org for this private event. Started 10 years ago by the Autism Society, this annual event is dedicated to ensuring families with children with special needs can enjoy seasonal traditions like the Bunny Photo Experience. The project has been expanded into a celebration with the addition of the following activities: Arts and crafts, games, train rides, a 1,000-egg Egg Hunt and therapy bunnies. This year, the Cafaro Foundation and Cafaro Family will sponsor family photos. This allows each family to receive a complimentary 5-by-7 family photo. Many steps are taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for the children's magical visit with the Bunny. For information on ASMV, visit www.autismmv.org.
