• WARREN -- Program, 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave., presented by the Trumbull County Veteran Service Commission and Trumbull County Historical Society. A parade will follow the service, weather permitting, starting at Perkins Park between the Women's Park and Trumbull County Tourism Bureau.
The parade will travel south on Mahoning Avenue, past a review stand set up near the Trumbull County Veterans Memorial and then east on Market Street through the downtown area, ending at Vine and High streets.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1090 in Warren will celebrate its 100th anniversary and hold a public open house after the parade, at 611 High St., and will have historical photos and other memorabilia on display at the church.
Saturday
• BEAVER TOWNSHIP -- Program 11 a.m. at safety building, 601 W. South Range Road, North Lima.
• CORTLAND -- Bridge dedication 2 p.m. on the East Main Street bridge, adjacent to El Terero Restaurant. The bridge is being renamed the Vietnam Memorial Bridge in honor of two Lakeview High School graduates killed in Vietnam.
• GIRARD -- Girard Veterans Council service with parade at 10:30 a.m. from Boardman Medical Supply parking lot south on Market Street to Liberty Street then west to the Officer Justin Leo Memorial Bridge. Wreath will be cast into the river. The parade then will march east to Market Street and north to High Street to the war memorial. Girard Mayor Jim Melfi will be the speaker.
• NILES -- Niles American Legion Post 106 will hold a service 11 a.m. at Niles City Cemetery.
• STRUTHERS -- Struthers City Schools will recognize veterans 11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial, corner of Morrison Street and Euclid Avenue. Guest is Chief Master Sgt. Lori Stone.
• YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning County Veterans Service Commission will conduct the annual program at 11 a.m. in the Courthouse Rotunda.
Sunday
• AUSTINTOWN -- The Veterans Day concert is at 5 p.m. in the Fitch High School gymnasium presented by Austintown Band Parents.
• CORTLAND -- Cortland Christian Church, 153 Grove Drive, will hold a special service at 10 a.m. with guest Kenneth David, a U.S. Army veteran who served as a radio operator in Vietnam. He received the Distinguished Service Cross.
Monday
• WARREN -- Veteran pinning ceremony 10 a.m. at the SCOPE Center, 375 N. Park Ave., Warren. Ceremony includes program on history of Veterans Day, patriotic songs, military trivia game and pinning of each veteran. Veterans who want to be recognized must RSVP at 330-399-8846 or margeh173@gmail.com.

• Dr. Joseph Bedich, staff and local dental volunteers, are offering free dental care to veterans on Veterans Day for the seventh annual Day of Dentistry, at the Center For Progressive Dentistry in Cortland. Appointments are being accepted by calling 330-637-7971. Proof of service is required. All veterans are seen by appointment only.

• Applebee's: Active-duty military, veterans, reservists and National Guard members who dine get in a complimentary full-size entree from a special menu.
• Bob Evans: Free meal from a select menu, dine-in only

• Dunkin': Veterans and active-duty military get a free doughnut at participating locations, in-store only.
• Panera Bread: The seven Valley locations will offer a free bagel and regular hot or iced coffee until 11 am.
