COOKBOOK CLUB TO MEET: The McKinley Memorial Library Cookbook Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Cookbook fans are invited to discuss a new cookbook or theme on the second Wednesday of each month. This month, participants may read one or both of the following: "The Hebridean Baker" by Coinneach MacLeod or "Tasting History" by Max Miller. Participants should meet at the McKinley Birthplace Home.
RUMMAGE SALE: Southington United Methodist Church, 4348 state Route 305, will host a rummage and bake sale 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall at the church. A bag sale ($3 to fill) will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday.
MEET AND GREET: McKinley Memorial Library will welcome local author Rosemary Kubli for a meet and greet 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Attendees can have their copy of "Gullible," her new book, signed. Books will not be sold at the event.
