SOUTHINGTON FUN IN PARK: Southington will holdits 15th annual fun in the park 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the gazebo at the township center. There will be school supplies and food.
LIBRARIES IN-SERVICE DAY: Libraries and services of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library system will have reduced hours today for a staff in-service day.
The libraries in Warren, Brookfield, Cortland, Howland and Liberty will open at 9 a.m. and close at noon today, and the Lordstown Library will be closed all day.
Regular library hours at all locations will resume Saturday.
NAACP MEETING: The Trumbull County NAACP will hold a membership meeting 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 1230 Palmyra Road, Warren.
OPEN HOUSE AND CAMPFIRE: The Moss Ancestral Home, 1499 Burnett St., Mineral Ridge, will hold an open house 6 to 8 p.m Saturday, followed by an Indian campfire. Bill Moss will be Wowaton as he entertains using his Indian artifacts. Bring a lawn chair for the campfire.
The Moss, a Pennsylvania Bank-style house built in the 1830s, also will be open 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday along with the Mineral Ridge showcase across the street.
VIENNA HOME DAY: Vienna Home Day is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Vienna Township green.
A parade steps off at 11 a.m. and will be from St. Thomas to the township green. There will be food, games and a township green tour. Volunteers are needed to assist with the parade.

CENTER WELCOMES PROFESSOR: The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, 505 Gypsy Lane, will host professor Daniel Goldmark, director for the Center of Popular Music Studies at Case Western Reserve University, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
