MEET THE EASTER BUNNY: A Meet the Easter Bunny event will be 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Hubbard Schools campus, 350 Hall Ave. SE, Hubbard. Meet the Hubbard Eagles mascot, the Junior Eagle, the Hubbard High school band and the Easter bunny.

WEATHERSFIELD EGG HUNT: Weathersfield Township has scheduled a drive-by Easter egg handout for local residents 1 p.m. today at the community park and gazebo.

DOGGIE EASTER EVENT: A doggie Easter egg hunt will be at Healthy Hearts and Paws Project, 384 Collar Price Road, Brookfield, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. HHPP volunteers will hide more than 500 doggie treats with a corresponding plastic egg nearby. The winner will be featured on the HHPP page and receive a free HHPP T-shirt. The unique event is open to kids and adults of all ages, with all participants required to sign a liability waiver. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and all dogs must be leashed at all times.

People are asked to leave their own dogs at home so the HHPP pups can enjoy themselves and have lots of room to roam.

SCOUT FUNDRAISER: Boy Scout Troop 20 of Lordstown will host a scrap drive for appliances, mowers, batteries and scrap metal. Free pickup if items are outside the house. Call 330-219-1368.
